100WC – Amy S 56BC

The party has started. Hundreds of people are entering my house while my parents are holidaying. Bright lights fill the room. I open the lid of a drink. It explodes all over me. While we’re having fun, my parents car drives into the driveway. I push everyone into the backyard. I glance outside. They’re unpacking bags. I ask some friends to help me clean but they say ‘but where would we hide it all’. To give us more time I lock the door so my parents can’t get in. My parents unlock and open the door. I’m ready for consequences.

..but where would we hide it all..

OSCAR P Grade 5
My two crew members are arguing about how to spend the money, but suddenly I relise something and I yell out above their voices, but where would we hide it all if the cops come? We look at each other concerned, and then we here something that we are all dreading… ear piercing sirens start gradually making there way towards us…

Before I open the door to the suspects house, I prepare for anything, I open the door but there is no sign of the thieves, just bags of money, when we check the bags there is nothing but clothing.

Hi Holy Spirit,

We need your help. We will be producing our 2nd Episode on CyberSafety very soon but we would like to get an idea of CyberSafety focus you would like us to film. Could you please leave a comment below including the following:

1. What category you would like us to focus on?
2. Why would you this over the others, why is it important?
3. Can you give us any ideas on a storyline, plot or problem to create this episode?

Thanks, check out our last Episode:

ANZAC DAY POEM

Alone in the corner of a darkened cemetery, a soldier remembers.

Crowded beaches.
Heavy boots.
Gun fire.
Smokey hazes.

Mate ship is what the lone digger recalls.

National honer in country.
Silence.
Brisk breeze.
Reality floods back.
Present.

Tears fall like torrents of a river breaking it bank.

Muddy trenchers.
Exploding bombs.
Dust suspended.

Memories of trauma and loss rush back.

Bullets echo among-st  the poppies in veterans minds.

Anti CyberBullying!

Hi all,

We had a wonderful Anti Bullying day on Friday ending with some great moments on the oval as a whole school. Below is the video we watched in Assembly. What are some ways you can protect yourself against CyberBullying?

Outback Burst. Written by: Madison Bell  Date:  15/3/2017

The rustic brittle fence wobbles while the pretty patterned kookaburra’s chatter. Dry crunchy grass tickles each other, as the warm fresh breeze flows through. Myriad of colors exchange mixtures beyond, where the mountains meet the horizon. A burst of wind shuffles the abandoned land, as the vibrant trees, speak to one another. While the buzzes of the outback burst, the animals continue to fascinate each other, as they reach for the world. Untouched scenery, makes this place a city of beautiful creatures, from big to small. Mystery lurks everywhere as the wild outback enchants the world beyond its reach. Flowers that embrace the hills on the mountain side shows the true love that the outback is. Tiny fluttering  birds illuminate the background. The outback is a wonderful place, ready to immerse the wanderer.

Lunchtime chatter  by Caitlyn 15/3/17

The scrape of the rusty neglected metal, fills my ears. The soft plumage of the kookaburra’s underbelly draws attention. Dry crisp grass crunches, as the noisy  kookaburras sharp squawk rings. The dappled blue and brown pattern on the majestic kookaburras make them stand out from the rest of the scenery.  Splinters fly as the breathtaking birds sit on the textured wooden post. Delicate flowers are dotted in the grassland, the soft gentle breeze rustles the plants. Foggy mountains slowly disappear as the clouds start to cover the pale blue sky. The kookaburras sharp eyes point like a light to a flame, too the lizard that scatters across the tired wooden post, the fight and scramble for the poor innocent lizard.
